Sw6teen

 

Sw6teen è un progetto fotografico che mira a documentare le sedicenni milanesi usando la fotografia di ritratto. In questo lavoro la “serialità” è la caratteristica fondamentale:

La fotografa Donata Zanotti ha scattato le fotografie mantenendo costanti: ottica fotografica, inquadratura, distanza e luci, realizzando così dei ritratti imparziali ed equanimi, per favorire sia il contatto tra le giovani che quello lei e loro.

@sw6teen è da subito un progetto social, un account Instagram, un luogo virtuale in cui le ragazze possono rivedersi e confrontarsi con uno strumento della loro età.

@sw6teen, è un metodo per relazionarsi aperto e in progressivo divenire, prende il nome dal sedicesimo compleanno delle giovani americane 'Sweet Sixteen', età che le porta ad emanciparsi dalla famiglia.

Sw6teen is a photographic project that documents sixteen-year-olds girls in Milan using portrait photography. In this work “seriality” is the fundamental characteristic.

The photographer Donata Zanotti tooks the photographs with some constant elements: the lens, the frame, the mood, the distance and the light, in order to create equanimous portraits and to build a relationship between the girls and between her and them.

@sw6teen is an Instagram account, a virtual place where girls can meet and compare themselves with an instrument of their age.

@sw6teen, is a method of relating, takes its name from the sixteenth birthday 'Sweet Sixteen' of young Americans, the age that leads them to emancipate themselves from the family
